Meet Sandra, a linguist, educator-turned-recruiter with a deep passion for people and diversity. After 20 years of inspiring young minds as an English teacher, Sandra made a natural transition to HR, where she’s found her calling in talent acquisition. Originally from Brazil, Sandra’s journey brought her to Canada, where she earned a diploma in HR Management and a certificate in Management from the University of Winnipeg.

Now thriving as a Talent Acquisition Coordinator at CWB, Sandra’s focus is on recruiting diverse talent and creating inclusive environments. With extensive experience communicating with neurodiverse individuals and advocating for accessibility, she’s dedicated to connecting top performers with opportunities that help them thrive.

When Sandra isn’t championing diversity and inclusion at CWB, she’s immersing herself in family life and personal growth. Whether she’s studying French, meditating, or learning jujitsu, Sandra’s always seeking new ways to grow and enrich her life. At home, her world is filled with creativity—her daughter is a songstress, her son a cartoonist, and her husband a musician. Add in two cats, a Labrador, and a passion for cultural exploration, and Sandra’s life is a vibrant, harmonious blend of work and play.

Sandra is also the co-leader of CWB’s VIDA ERG (Employee Resource Group) and remains a continuous learner, ever passionate about making the workplace more inclusive for all.
